Threaded Cast In Socket System
The PCT Threaded Socket System, made up with Lifting Sockets, Fixing Sockets, Lifting Devices and Socket accessories are widely used within the precast industry as cast in sockets for precast concrete,and have been for many years. These systems offer a cost-effective system suitable for demoulding, transporting and erecting precast units.
The system consists or a threaded socket cast into the concrete using a fixing method from our accessories range which is then lifted and transported using a lifting device from the system.

Colour Coded System & Product Marking
The PCT Threaded Lifting Socket System uses the colour code system as defined in The German Association of Engineers (VDI) Guidance document for lifting systems (VDI/BV-BS-6205 April 2012) which allows a quick and easy method to identify each size.
In addition, PCT colour code lifting sockets with a White Zinc plated finish and fixing sockets with a Yellow Zinc plated finish.
